Pure Water

Test Your Tap Water

Tap water can have toxic chemicals.  You can test to see if your water is truly pure or not by testing your tap water for lead, copper, bacteria, nitrates, chlorine, and other contaminants.

Use a Water Purifier

Water purifiers help to reduce/eliminate toxins from tap water.  One of the best purifiers that I’ve heard of is the Clearly Filtered Water Pitcher. It helps to remove pesticides, herbicides, bacteria, arsenic, lead, fluoride, et cetera.  Plus, I love the fact that it has a convenient water pitcher available.

The reason why companies, such as Clearly Filtered, don’t recommend fluoride in the water is explained in the following documentaries:

Water Distillers

Health experts such as Dr. David Williams highly recommend water distillers because they take all of the toxins out of the water.  The brand and model he recommends is Waterwise 9000.  Waterwise has also been recommended by Norman Walker, the author of Water Can Undermine Your Health and also George Malkmus who is the founder of Hallelujah Acres.

Refrigerator Filters

Clatterans has different types of refrigerator water filters, including Whirlpool, KitchenAid, Kenmore, Maytag, GE, LG, and Frigidaire. They filter contaminants such as bacteria, microbial cysts, pesticides, aluminum, chlorine, and mercury.

 Shower Filters

The skin on our bodies is the largest organ that we have.  And what goes onto our skin is absorbed into our bodies.  Like tap water in the kitchen, the water in the bathroom also has chemicals.  Therefore, it’s wise to use a shower filter in addition to water purifiers.  The makers of Waterwise also make shower filters called Showerwise.  It reduces chlorine, sulfur, and other toxins.

Bath Water Filters

Many people prefer to take baths instead of showers.  Thankfully there are also bath water filters available that help to remove many harmful contaminants, such as chlorine, pesticides, and heavy metals.

Make Pure Water From the Air

That may sound impossible but a company named NUBE makes atmospheric water generators that produce pure water from the humidity in the air.  Plus, it’s great for those who live in dry or drought conditions.  To learn more about it please click here.

Water That Tastes Good

Some people say they don’t drink water because they don’t like the taste/non-taste.  Using a purifier should help eliminate the chemical taste in water.  Also, if you want to drink better tasting water you can add a touch of your favorite fruit juice and/or a packet of stevia.

Using True Lemon products is yet another way you can add flavor to your water. They come in a variety of fruit flavors including lemon, lime, orange, and lime watermelon.  Plus, they have salt-free seasonings.

Stur also has of natural fruit flavors that can be added to water. Flavors include orange, lemon, strawberry/watermelon, peach, coconut/pineapple, grape/acai, and cherry.
